FAIR LAWN FIRE COMPANY #1

The goal of this project was to remodel the 6,600 square foot Fair Lawn Fire Company facility. Heavily influenced by the Prairie School architectural style, the design features strong horizontal bands, a powerful overhang and very articulated materiality. The building contains 3 large bays for the apparatuses as well as meeting rooms, offices, and a second floor with ample lounge space and multi-purpose rooms for the firefighters. This was a successful joint venture with The Ives Architecture Studio.
